How did you become involved with Brnoregion Microscopy?

My path to microscopy started by accident when I started working with the electron microscopy department as a PR specialist at the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS. The first big event was the Electron Microscopy Days, where I discovered the fascinating world of microscopy and its incredible details, such as a pollen grain of a flower I am allergic to.

What activities are you involved in within the community?

In the community, I represent the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS and connect scientific discoveries with the commercial world and the general public. We organize workshops, lectures and field trips to help people better understand complex scientific concepts and their practical implications.

What benefits does it bring to you?

Access to state-of-the-art technology and collaboration with leading experts. I am inspired by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the people I meet.

Do you have any message for the community?

Never stop exploring and questioning. Only questions move our knowledge forward. The world is full of amazing secrets waiting to be discovered.

Who's also here

Meet the people behind Brnoregion’s world-class microscopy — the researchers, innovators, and visionaries driving progress, shaping the future of the field, and ensuring that whenever microscopy is discussed globally, the first association is Brnoregion.

Radka Martínková and Jan Neuman introduced me to this platform. Brnoregion Microscopy is really pushing forward concrete actions, rather than (blurry) visions and philosophical questions. And you can see that these actions are actually materializing,…
