Current projects
The Community group projects connect members of the Brnoregion Microscopy ecosystem to share experience, grow together, and shape the region into a global center of excellence in microscopy.
How does an Action Group work?
An action group typically consists of several members from the community. Not every BM member has their representatives in every group; usually, it is institutions and individuals interested in the specific area who join the group and work within it.
The action groups meet every two months to define projects and tasks, assign responsibilities for each, report on their progress, and discuss new opportunities. Between meetings, group members work on the tasks they have taken responsibility for.
What is the Action Plan?
In a two-year interval, the stakeholders decide on the key areas of Brno region Microscopy for the next period. Subsequently, active members will develop these areas into individual milestones, which the platform will aim to achieve over the next two years.
As soon as the stakeholder meeting approves the plan, the action groups are set up or the existing ones take over and start working on the plan execution.
Our Mission
Whenever anyone worldwide talks about (electron) microscopy, the first association will be #brnoregion.
